Clifford Curry has a new leather jacket – and a new brother.The 79-year-old Vietnam veteran (1966-69), who had recently been living in his car for more than three months, was at the 15th annual North Bay Stand Down where he met Henry Nunes, 47, a Vallejo native and a Gulf War veteran (1987-90) who served on the USS Enterprise.

Garamendi’s office will be available at the Stand Down to help veterans who are having issues with the Veterans Administration or another federal agency. To date, our office has secured more than $5.1 in unpaid benefits earned by constituent veterans.\
