On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, President Donald Trump temporarily paused all activities related to the obligation or disbursement of all Federal financial assistance and other relevant agency activities. 

This effort was only the beginning as Elon Musk’s DOGE continued to wreak havoc on the federal government through mass firings, drastic cuts, and unconstitutionally dissolved entire agencies like USAID.
