This is a solemn occasion to remember the heroes who never returned home. This is also a day we celebrate the achievements of the heroes among us, the people who served.

Garamendi welcomed the debut of a new fleet of locomotives, manufactured in Sacramento. The trains' construction led to 200 new jobs in Sacramento and hundreds more across the country. Garamendi supports a Make It In America jobs agenda.

For decades, UC Davis, a historic land-grant university, has developed cutting-edge farm practices, research, and local partnerships.
