The National Center for Sustainable Transportation will assert national leadership in reducing carbon emissions from transportation systems while supporting climate adaptation activities and continued mitigation of air pollution and other threats to public health.

The bill would strengthen our decaying water transportation infrastructure to promote America’s competitiveness, prosperity, and economic growth. It also accelerates crucial flood protection projects in California’s Central Valley and across the nation.

The bill would eliminate food assistance for one in five veterans and hundreds of thousands of seniors, disabled people, and low-income working Americans. At a time when so many Americans are struggling to get by, these draconian cuts would plunge even more people into extreme poverty.

Today ARPA-E announced a new $1.5 million grant for UC Davis for advanced energy research.
