Local residents will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite mask to select a winner.

Washington, DC—Today, the U.S. Senate passed Congressman John Garamendi's (D-CA) amendment ensuring full enforcement of the Jones Act and other federal laws in offshore wind development in the final National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal year 2021. The legislation passed by a vote of 84-13 and now heads to the President's desk for his signature following Senate passage today and House passage on December 8.

Garamendi was appointed as an NDAA conferee again this year, responsible for negotiating the final bill. The bill passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 335-78. The bill will be voted on by the Senate later this week and sent to the President's desk for final signature.
