WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Representative John Garamendi (D-CA08) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation awarded a $20 million grant to begin rebuilding State Highway 37 to prevent coastal flooding in Solano, Napa, and Sonoma Counties. The federal grant awarded today is in response to a letter of support from Representatives Garamendi and Mike Thompson (D-CA04) sent in August 2023.
