UC Davis is conducting vitally important research to rise to the challenge of climate change by studying its effect on agriculture and our water system, and what we can do about it. Dr. Sperling at their Institute of Transportation Studies has produced monumental work in clean transportation, hydrogen fuel infrastructure, and research on how we can achieve a 100% renewable energy economy.

"In just one week, hard working students at UC Davis, Solano Community College, Yuba College, and schools across the country will be kicked down a rung unless Congress acts to prevent Stafford Student Loan Rates from doubling. For that reason, I have called for legislation freezing the current rate to be brought to the floor. Congress should not adjourn until we stop this senseless rate hike."
