Garamendi Awards Vacaville Based Lynch Syndrome International Certificate for Advocacy Efforts

Ms. Linda Bruzzone receives an official commendation from Congressman Garamendi at his Washington, D.C. office.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman John Garamendi (D-Fairfield, CA), awarded Ms. Linda Bruzzone, Founder and Executive Director for Lynch Syndrome International, a certificate of commendation for raising awareness of Lynch Syndrome and the causes of cancer. "It is with great pleasure that I recognize Lynch Syndrome International and their critically important efforts to raise awareness about Lynch Syndrome and the causes of cancer. Since its inception in July of 2009, LSI has been a strong advocate for cancer patients and creating awareness about Lynch Syndrome, which is a hereditary condition that significantly increases one's likelihood of contracting cancer. Though its education and advocacy, LSI has been a leader in promoting cancer awareness, cancer screenings and early treatment; resulting in better health outcomes and increased hope for those afflicted.
