Congressman Garamendi Committed to Community Access with
New Partnership Between his Office and the City of Livermore
LIVERMORE, CA – Beginning February 24th, Congressman John Garamendi’s (D-Walnut Creek) Constituent Services Manager, Karen Tedford, will host office hours in Livermore in a new partnership between the Congressman and the City of Livermore. This marks the first time that a Congressional representative from CA-10 has hosted regular office hours in Livermore.
"I am a district-focused representative and want to make sure that everyone in our district has an opportunity to take advantage of the resources and services available in my district offices," Congressman Garamendi said. "For the first time in the history of the 10th Congressional District, my staff will host regular office hours in the City of Livermore to make sure that all of our residents in Alameda County have an opportunity to conveniently meet with us to air their concerns related to federal agencies."
Karen Tedford’s first office hours will be on Wednesday, February 24th, from noon to 4 PM. She will be in the City Manager’s office inside Livermore City Hall, located at 1052 S. Livermore Avenue. She is available to assist constituents on a variety of federal government issues, including Veterans Affairs, Social Security, Medicare, IRS, immigration, and more. To make an appointment, please call (925) 932-8899 at least a day in advance. Walk-ins are also welcome but appointments are recommended to guarantee prompt service.
"I have served the residents of the 10th Congressional District for nearly seven years as a constituent caseworker, and it is a pleasure to broaden our outreach in Livermore and Alameda County," Tedford said. "Congressman Garamendi and I want to make sure that every resident in our district knows that we are here to help and ready to serve you."
