Garamendi Honors Olympian from Vacaville Competing in Tokyo Olympics
SOLANO COUNTY, CA—Today, Congressman John Garamendi (D-CA) applauded Robyn Stevens of Vacaville, who will represent his Congressional District and the nation at the 2021 Summer Olympic Games. Robyn will compete for Team USA in 20-kilometer race walk competition in the Olympics.
Last week, Garamendi met with Robyn Stevens and her family in Davis to present her with a Congressional Commendation.
"It was a pleasure to present Robyn Stevens with a Congressional Commendation to recognize her commitment to honest competition and the countless hours she has spent earning the opportunity to represent our nation at the Tokyo Olympics," Garamendi said. "Her dedication and achievement will inspire others in her community to pursue their dreams and passions.
