“Every American should be relieved that one of the most blatantly partisan attorneys general in American history, Pam Bondi, has been fired. Unfortunately, her weaponization of the Justice Department will live on through her predecessor and fellow Trump personal attorney Todd Blanche.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Yesterday, Representatives John Garamendi (D-CA), a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, joined Wesley Bell (D-MO), Joe Courtney (D-CT), and eight other House Armed Services Democrats to write a letter to Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth expressing concern regarding the condition, operational strain, and crew welfare aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group as its deployment approaches its tenth consecutive month at sea.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman John Garamendi (CA-08), a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, joined all House Armed Services Committee (HASC) Democratic members in sending a letter to HASC Chairman Mike Rogers (R-AL) asking that a public hearing be immediately convened and the Department of Defense be brought in to testify on President Trump’s war against Iran.
